SECURITY CAMERAS & CCTV SYSTEMS

As an experienced and trusted provider to government clients, Adjoiner can deploy and install a wide range of digital video surveillance/camera systems, CCTV (closed circuit television) systems and DVR security systems.

We have installed a network of wireless, night-vision cameras for military installations to capture the base peripheral activities and vehicle license plates. We can also provide specialty cameras such as underwater, low-light night vision or infra-red cameras to provide the highest resolution for government clients and sensitive facilities.

Our expertise enables the clients to quickly deploy a surveillance system for deterrence, as well as to provide the documentation needed to audit activity, improve security policies, and revise security coverage.

Adjoiner can provide and deploy the following CCTV surveillance technologies and products:

Security Cameras – Full line of lenses and types, including specialty cameras, based on client’s needs such as, Megapixel IP Camera which provides TV-like HD resolution (1928 x 1080) at 30fps
Digital Video Recorders – DVRs from one channel to distributed enterprise system
Digital Video Recorders – DVRs from one channel to distributed enterprise system
H.264 Encoder/Decoder (Video Server) – Converts analog signal into H.264 compressed format for more efficient, low bandwidth digital transmission
Streamer Software – Enables multi-camera (100-250) and multi-location monitoring with minimum of additional bandwidth enhancement data transmission media (DTM)
Security Monitor Screens – Types, sizes, resolutions and formats to meet varied client needs
Remote Access & Viewing – User friendly solutions for remote location viewing from IP-based cameras to web-based browser software

INTRUSION DETECTION SYSTEM (IDS)

Instrusion Detection is defined as "the act of detecting actions that attempt to compromise the confidentiality, integrity or availability of a resource." The goal of intrusion detection is to identify intruders from subverting in-place security controls.

Regardless of the sophistication of installed internal security system, perimeter protection and detection remains the first line of defense for many government and DOD facilities. By integrating perimeter protection and detection measures as a part of security system, you are conforming to a layered defense approach, as strongly recommended by many security experts.

Adjoiner can enable clients to identify threats to their physical environments and systems via deployment of the following physical controls:

Security Cameras
Access Control Systems
Sensors (ICIDS)
Security Guards

ACCESS CONTROL

Access Control

Adjoiner offers a complete access control design, installation and maintenance package that is customized to each client's particular requirements and objectives.

Installing access control systems into your environment is a prudent, cost effective way of protecting your personnel and vital assets. We can install a system which can ensure our clients complete control over any site, by enabling them to manage and monitor access into and from any area or facility.

From simple to multi-site access systems that incorporate the control of multiple card readers located at different sites, Adjoiner can design a system that can “fit” the logistical needs of each client.

Adjoiner is an authorized dealer/installer of some of the best access control system manufacturers. Notwithstanding, we do not rely on any one supplier in order to ensure that our client’s needs are met with the best and most reliable systems – we believe this is the best way to prevent a potential compromise due to poor equipment.

Access Control Portal Systems (Mantrap)

At the core of Adjoiner's security solutions are its Access Control Portal Systems sold together with partner company Seenex. These are security barrier systems - enclosed entryways with built-in magnetometers (metal detectors), bullet resistant glass, intercom system, alarms, control consoles, and inner and outer doors.

When a person passes through the outer door carrying a weapon (or large metal object), the metal detector reads the weapon and "locks" the inner door. These systems are primarily used to prevent armed person(s) and persons carrying unwanted items from entering a facility. However, most security barrier systems such as CCTV, access control devices, biometric systems, bomb and/or narcotic detection systems, and asset control devices can be integrated within the host portal.

The UNIVERS AC (picture shown) is the latest advance in security doors interfaced with a proximity access control system. Designed for discreet automatic access control, the proximity access card is read through the glass sides as the user passes. Access to secure areas is then controlled by a pair of concealed sliding doors which close for a non-authorized user, and quietly exit the user back out to the entrance. The flow of traffic for authorized users is uninterrupted.

DATA TRANSMISSION MEDIA (DTM)

DATA TRANSMISSION MEDIA (DTM)

A significant element in an Electronic Security System (ESS) is the data transmission media (DTM), which carries information from sensors, entry control devices, and video components to the display and assessment equipment.

Simply put, the DTM links remote equipment with the Security Center. An effective DTM circuit ensures rapid and reliable transmission of data, is resistant to compromise, and is conducive to rapid fault detection and repair.

A number of different types of DTM are used depending on the type and distance of signal being transmitted. The types of DTM found in an ESS are wire line, coaxial cable, fiber optic, and radio frequency (RF) transmission.

Installation of DTM between remote protected areas and the Security Center is generally considered to be site preparation work. Putting multiple signals on a single circuit is cost effective because it reduces the amount of cabling required. It is very effective when components are located in close proximity to each other.

According to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers ESS Installation Inspection Requirement Manual, ...fiber is the preferred DTM for ESS, unless there are justifiable economic or technical reasons for using other types of DTM.”

Adjoiner can be your one stop source for all your copper, fiber, and CCTV wiring requirements, indoor and door.

We also provide troubleshooting, repairs and testing services.
