ACCESS CONTROL

Adjoiner offers a complete access control design, installation and maintenance package that is customized to each client's particular requirements and objectives.

Installing access control systems into your environment is a prudent, cost effective way of protecting your personnel and vital assets. We can install a system which can ensure our clients complete control over any site, by enabling them to manage and monitor access into and from any area or facility.

From simple to multi-site access systems that incorporate the control of multiple card readers located at different sites, Adjoiner can design a system that can “fit” the logistical needs of each client.

Adjoiner is an authorized dealer/installer of some of the best access control system manufacturers. Notwithstanding, we do not rely on any one supplier in order to ensure that our client’s needs are met with the best and most reliable systems – we believe this is the best way to prevent a potential compromise due to poor equipment.

ACCESS CONTROL

Access Control Portal Systems (Mantrap)

At the core of Adjoiner's security solutions are its Access Control Portal Systems sold together with partner company Seenex. These are security barrier systems - enclosed entryways with built-in magnetometers (metal detectors), bullet resistant glass, intercom system, alarms, control consoles, and inner and outer doors.

When a person passes through the outer door carrying a weapon (or large metal object), the metal detector reads the weapon and "locks" the inner door. These systems are primarily used to prevent armed person(s) and persons carrying unwanted items from entering a facility. However, most security barrier systems such as CCTV, access control devices, biometric systems, bomb and/or narcotic detection systems, and asset control devices can be integrated within the host portal.

The UNIVERS AC (picture shown) is the latest advance in security doors interfaced with a proximity access control system. Designed for discreet automatic access control, the proximity access card is read through the glass sides as the user passes. Access to secure areas is then controlled by a pair of concealed sliding doors which close for a non-authorized user, and quietly exit the user back out to the entrance. The flow of traffic for authorized users is uninterrupted.
